Please note before booking:

  • This service does not include a removal of any kind.

  • Arrive with bare nails, or if you are currently wearing Lark & Sparrow gel,

    select L&S Gel Removal from our Add-On menu.

Returning Clients: Soft Gel Extensions
with Removal or Fill In – $115 (Allow 2 Hours)

This service is designed for returning clients who currently have Lark & Sparrow soft gel extensions.
Enjoy our signature Basic Gel Manicure with added length using flexible Soft Gel Tip Extensions.
At your appointment, your technician will either:

  • Remove and replace your soft gel tips, OR
    Fill in and rebalance your existing set.

Our appointments are confirmed 24 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget. Since the services are reserved for you personally a cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel/reschedule less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointments you will be charged for 50% of total services booked.

Less than 2 hours / No Call / No Show will be charged for full service.

What are Our Soft Gel Extensions?

Soft gel extensions are nail enhancements that use a Soft Gel to lengthen and strengthen nails. We only use products that can be soaked off for removal. The tips are adhered with a soft gel instead of glue.

Why We Don’t Remove or Fill Other Salon’s Gel Extensions

At Lark & Sparrow, your health and safety are always our top priority. Because there are so many different types of gel systems used in other salons, it’s impossible to know whether the products applied are soak-off gels (which dissolve safely) or hard gels (which require electric filing). Since we maintain a clean-air workspace and avoid dust-producing removal methods, we only work with soak-off gel systems. For this reason, we are unable to remove or fill gel extensions that were applied elsewhere.

This policy helps us protect your natural nails while keeping our salon environment safe, healthy, and comfortable for everyone.

Soft Gel Extension Aftercare

Never pick or peel off your extensions as this can/will damage your natural nails.

Avoid Excessive Water Exposure as prolonged water contact can cause lifting.
Wear gloves when washing dishes or cleaning.

Use Cuticle Oil Daily- Apply a drop to each nail every day to help keep nails flexible and reduce cracks or chips.

Be Gentle with Your Hands-Don’t use nails as tools.

Schedule Regular Maintenance- Visit every 2–3 weeks for a fill or safe removal.

Can I reattach my nail at home if it pops off?

-For a short term fix, Yes with temporary glue or nail adhesive stickers. 

-For a semi permanent fix, No. If your nail completely pops off or is significantly lifting on the sides, we recommend having it repaired or reapplied at the salon. Gluing it back on without proper nail prep can create an environment for bacteria to grow.

How are LAS Soft Gel Extensions Removed?

We only use soft gel and tips that can be soaked off in pure acetone. A complete removal of the product should take approximately 30 minutes to safely remove all of the gel from the natural nails and have them ready for the manicure of your choice.

Do you offer a stand alone removal for LAS Soft Gel Extensions?

No. We only pair removals with our manicure services to ensure our clients are always left with healthy skin and nails after our services. 

How should I book my future Soft Gel Extensions appointments?

For a NEW SET: Soft Gel Extensions, please arrive with nothing on your nails as this will NOT include a removal of any kind OR if you have our gel on you can choose L&S gel removal from the Add On menu. (No electric filing will be needed to apply or remove the soft gel extensions & we can maintain our clean air environment)

Retuning clients who have our gel extensions currently on should book book as RETURNING CLIENTS: Soft Gel Extensions with Removal OR Fill. . Tips will be removed and replaced OR tips can be rebalanced & filled in & rebalanced.
